On 19 June 2025, the IHED central organising team held the official event of the 2025 edition, “Research for Impact”: a full day of seminars, sessions, conversations and celebration, in person at the host institution and online for participants everywhere.
Host city: Lyon, France
The day opened with a ceremony by the host institution and the organising team, followed by:
- Keynote: Why science needs public trust
- Panel: Open and ethical research in practice
- Workshop: Explaining your research in three minutes to a non-specialist
It closed with a reception, a cultural programme and the announcement of the next host. Thank you to everyone who took part.
