The 2024 edition, “Skills for Life”, is open for events. Any institution, student union, association or organisation can take part, and taking part is free of charge.
Ideas to get started
- A lifelong learning fair presenting short courses, evening programmes and micro-credentials
- A session on the recognition of prior learning and work experience
- Career-change stories told by alumni and adult learners
- A skills workshop on communication, teamwork or digital literacy open to the local community
- A dialogue between employers and academics about the skills that are really needed
Register your event and, after a short review by the IHED team, it appears on the events page. The toolkit has logos and materials.
