The 2023 edition, “Universities for the Planet”, is open for events. Any institution, student union, association or organisation can take part, and taking part is free of charge.
Ideas to get started
- A campus clean-up, tree planting or biodiversity walk organised with student associations
- A climate research showcase where early-career researchers present to the public
- A repair café, swap shop or zero-waste day
- A panel on how the curriculum of every discipline can include sustainability
- A "green campus" audit in which students measure energy, waste and mobility
Register your event and, after a short review by the IHED team, it appears on the events page. The toolkit has logos and materials.
