Around 19 June 2021, institutions, student unions and organisations around the world marked the day on campus, online or in a hybrid form. Events held for the “Reimagining the Digital Campus” theme included:
- A hands-on lab where students test and review the digital tools of their own institution
- A panel on accessible design: captions, screen readers and low-bandwidth materials
- A debate on fair and honest online assessment
- A "digital skills clinic" where staff and students help each other with tools
- An open day presenting blended and online programmes and the support behind them
